Which Scaltrol hard water treatment system is right for you?

We offer two options for residential hard water treatment systems. They are identical except for the dimensions and capacity of the systems. They both provide the same effective hard water treatment solution for your whole house. They both easily attach to your cold-water lines to protect against mineral scale and staining and require very little maintenance.

The SC-50 Cold-Water Treatment system is the right choice for a typical household with typical water usage. This is usually a household of 2-4 people using approximately 50,000 gallons of water a year. This system is also lower cost and therefore the right choice if you want to try out our system.

The SC-100 Cold-Water Treatment system is our most popular choice. It is more economical and requires less frequent cartridge replacement with a capacity of 100,000 gallons of water usage. You’ll replace the cartridge half as OFTEN as with the SC-50 system. This system is perfect for larger households with higher water consumption. It is also the right choice for households that want less maintenance.
