Dish Machines & Booster Heaters

Ware washing dish machines spray very hot water combined with chemicals to remove food and debris from dishes, cooking utensils and flatware. The combination of heating the water in the booster heater along with pressure spraying creates a lot of hard water scale buildup on the heating elements, spray jets and on all working parts inside the machine. Scaltrol will prevent hard water scale formation and soften existing scale in the booster heater and dish machine eliminating the need for descaling procedures.

Hot enough water is the key ingredient in brewing high quality coffees and teas. How do I decide what system is right for me?

It’s easy to choose between our food service systems. Each systems offers the same water solution system with two distinctions: the capacity of the unit and whether it’s attached to the cold or hot water lines.

Use our cold-water treatment systems (SC-50, SC-100) on any equipment using a cold-water feed line such as ice machines, steamers, combi-ovens, brewing machines and tankless water heaters. The SC-50 has a cartridge capacity of 50,000 gallons and the SC-100 has a cartridge capacity of 100,000 gallons.

Our hot-water systems are designed to handle hot water or high-pressure applications up to 200° F (93° C) and 200 psi. This added functionality of the HSC-50 and HSC-100 to attach to the hot water line is perfect for any application requiring the temperature of the water to be boosted prior to the equipment like ware washing dish machines and booster heaters.

Our SC-500 industrial system is best for treating all water coming into a food service operation. They attach to hot or cold-water lines up to 150° F (66° C) and 100 psi and treat approximately 500,000 gallons of water.
